The Sea Islands community gathered to mark a long-anticipated milestone with the grand opening of MUSC Health Kiawah Partners Pavilion–a transformative new healthcare facility bringing world-class medical services to the community.

The opening celebration brought together community leaders, healthcare partners, residents, and guests to commemorate the realization of a vision first imagined more than a decade ago. The event featured remarks from key contributors to the project, followed by a ceremonial ribbon-cutting and guided tours of the new Pavilion.

MUSC Health Kiawah Partners Pavilion offers a comprehensive range of services, including a 24/7 freestanding Emergency Room, advanced imaging and diagnostic capabilities, primary and specialty care, physical and occupational therapy, telehealth resources, and a helipad to support rapid transfers when necessary. Designed to meet the evolving needs of the Sea Islands, the Pavilion represents a significant investment in both access and resilience.

Kiawah Partners was honored to play a key role in bringing this project to life. As part of its longstanding dedication to the well-being of the community, Kiawah Partners donated the three-acre parcel of land that now serves as the landmark site for the Pavilion–a contribution valued at more than $6 million. This partnership reflects a shared belief that building a thriving community extends beyond homes and amenities to include essential infrastructure that supports health, safety, and quality of life.

Speakers at the event reflected on the collaborative journey that led to the Pavilion’s opening–a process shaped by years of planning, partnership, and a shared commitment to meeting the region’s growing healthcare needs. Attendees then had the opportunity to tour the facility, gaining firsthand insight into the advanced technology, thoughtfully designed spaces, and patient-centered care that will define the Pavilion’s impact for years to come.
