January Kiawah Island Club Member Events 

Polar Bear Plunge | The Beach Club | Jan 1 

Members are invited to kick off 2026 with GoKiawah’s annual Polar Bear Plunge at The Beach Club. Following the countdown and that bracing Atlantic dip, the pool deck will be set with hot chocolate, coffee, or something a little stronger. This Member tradition has become the way many choose to welcome each new year on the Island.

Breakfast For Dinner | River Course | Jan 3

River Course is serving Member’s breakfast favorites as the sun sets over the river. Imagine fluffy pancakes, crispy bacon, fresh fruit, and all the classics reimagined for dinner. Pair your plate with a mimosa, bloody mary, or espresso and settle into a meal that feels both nostalgic and new. 

Rockstar Night | River Course | Jan 10

Members will experience an evening inspired by the bold flavors and iconic moments of rock and roll history. River Course culinary team has created a buffet celebrating music’s greatest legends, and Members are encouraged to dress with a touch of flair for this exclusive Club event. 

Kiawah Island Club Progressive Dinner | Jan 15 

An evening that moves Members across the Island. Begin with appetizers and cocktails at River Room, continue to The Living Room for the main course, and finish at B-Liner with dessert and a nightcap. Club transportation is provided; Members only need to arrive ready to savor each stop along the way. 

Blues & Brews Winter Oyster Fest | River Course | Jan 17 

Fresh oysters, live bluegrass, and the flavors of the Lowcountry come together for an evening that captures the heart of winter on Kiawah. River Course hosts this Members-only seasonal celebration with signature cocktails, seasonal drafts, and music that makes you want to linger. It’s the kind of night where good company and great food meet effortlessly.

Tom’s Kitchen Cooking Class | Cassique | Jan 21 

Members are invited to join Chef Nico Quintero, chef de cuisine of The Cape Club, for an intimate afternoon exploring the art of sushi and sake. This hands-on class Member experience includes technique instruction, tastings, and wine. 

February Kiawah Island Club Member Events

Steakhouse Night | River Course | Feb 7 

River Course serves Members a steakhouse buffet that honors the classics. Premium grilled cuts, chef-carved specialties, and traditional sides are served with marsh views and the warm hospitality Kiawah is known for. It’s a dinner that satisfies in every sense.

The Big Game Party | Cassique | Feb 8 

Members gather at Cassique for game day done right. All the football favorite foods, select beer and wine, specialty cocktails, and a room full of fellow fans await. With no arrival time required, the party runs from kickoff through the final whistle.

Tom’s Kitchen Cooking Class | Cassique | Feb 11

Just before Valentine’s Day, Cassique Executive Chef Michael O’Shaughnessy invites Members into the kitchen for a hands-on class centered around Oscar-style fillets. Members learn techniques, taste what they’ve prepared, and enjoy wine alongside creations.

Love Is In The Air | River Course | Feb 14 

Valentine’s Day at River Course is an evening designed for connection. A multi-course prix fixe dinner, curated wine pairings, and live music fill the ballroom as the sun sets over the marsh. Whether it’s your first Valentine’s as a Member or one of many, the evening unfolds with elegance, warmth, and moments worth savoring.

Kiawah Island Club Progressive Dinner | Feb 19

Members will journey across the Island for this progressive dinner, beginning with appetizers at The Living Room, continuing to B-Liner for the main course, and ending at River Room for dessert and cocktails. Club transportation will handle all logistics for this Member-exclusive event.

Off-Island Excursion: Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson: Search For Life in The Universe 

Kiawah Island Club Members have exclusive access to this off-Island experience at Charleston’s Gaillard Center, where Dr. Neil DeGrasse Tyson will discuss humanity’s search for life beyond Earth. Club transportation departs Cassique at 6:00 p.m. and returns Members after the talk concludes.
