Henry Cleveland

“Our team has an exclusive relationship with this beautiful Island. We only focus on Kiawah so we know what’s happening, and what’s planned for the future. I help clients see and experience the Kiawah Island lifestyle firsthand.”

A native of Charleston, Henry Cleveland’s appreciation for Kiawah began in the early 1990s while playing Junior Tennis tournaments on the Island.

The grandson of groundbreaking preservationist Frances R. Edmunds, former executive director of the Historic Charleston Foundation, Henry experienced firsthand the evolution of Charleston along with the development of Kiawah. He has an understanding of how this unique place came to be, and how the value of Charleston provides a complete experience for Kiawah’s property owners. “It really is the best of both worlds only 21 miles apart.” he says.

“Kiawah is unlike any other place I’ve seen,” Henry says. “Nature has been carefully preserved, while offering a lifestyle focused on family experiences, memories, and unparalleled amenities.”

Henry’s interest in the real estate business began in Aspen, CO, where he was a tennis pro after college, surrounded by one of the most beautiful places on earth. “It was about appreciating and enjoying life with family and friends.”

Henry has been an established agent in Charleston since 2002. He joined Kiawah Island Real Estate in 2008 to specialize in one place, Kiawah Island.

He is a graduate of Episcopal High School in Alexandria, VA and Rhodes College in Memphis, TN, where he received a bachelor of arts degree in history.
