Owning a home that includes membership to the Kiawah Island Club grants you access to the most exclusive social events, yearly activities, and decadent dining the Island has to offer.

The Kiawah Island Club is not just another country club, it’s a way of life; and it is full of exciting opportunities for you to take advantage of as a homeowner. Being a Kiawah Island Club Members Allows You To:

Meet New People

Speaking of staying social, being a Club Member gives way to meeting a variety of people. While you’re likely to make friends at Club events, spending time poolside at the Beach Club or chatting at the Marsh House is sure to enrich your social life. In Kiawah, the Club is its own community, full of Members who treat each other like family. If you’re looking to make Kiawah your “home away from home”, purchasing a qualifying property is an ideal way to meet friends that turn into family.

Tee-Off on Kiawah’s Iconic Courses

One of the most attractive parts of a Club Membership includes its access to the Island’s world-class golf courses. While the Resort Courses, including the famed Ocean Course designed by Pete Dye, are open to the public, the Cassique and River Course are for Club Members only.

Cassique Course

Inspired by Irish and Scottish links-style golf courses, this Tom Watson-designed 6,960-yard course lies along the Kiawah River and its creek and marshes. The first six holes at Cassique have been described as though they’ve been “air-lifted from Ireland’s southwest coast.” A replica of The Spectacles bunkers from Carnoustie guards one green, and approaches reminiscent of holes at Ballybunion and Cypress Point frame two others.

River Course

Redesigned by Tom Fazio in 2006, the River Course provides a challenging yet inspiring 7,039-yard test. Eight holes play along the Kiawah River and Bass Pond, with the other fairways and greens along marsh savannas, ponds, and oak-filled maritime forests. There’s no denying this course is deserving of its many accolades; most recently being listed as one of “America’s Best Top 100 Residential Courses” by Golfweek magazine in 2018 and ranked one of the Top 50 SC Golf Courses in 2018 by the South Carolina Course Rating Panel.

Gain Access to Exclusive Amenities

From dinner and dolphin watching cruises, full moon kayaking on the Lowcountry waterways, and spa rooms overlooking the Kiawah River to clay shooting, kids’ programs, and more, Club Members can enjoy the very best the Island has to offer.

Sasanqua Spa

Kiawah Island Club Members enjoy exclusive access to the resort’s private spa. Clodagh Design is the mastermind behind the Sasanqua Spa, which has been designed to strengthen your connection to the outdoors with the use of natural treatments and products.

Cassique Boathouse and Kayak Dock

For a refreshing respite between golf course holes or a memorable day paddling through the calming waters of Kiawah, the Cassique Boathouse offers Members and their guests the ultimate kayak or paddleboard adventure through the Island’s surrounding creeks, rivers, and marshland. Various styles of single and tandem kayaks and several sizes of paddles and life jackets make this an activity that the entire family will enjoy.

Sports Pavilion

For Club Members, the Sports Pavilion is the ideal mix of recreation and relaxation. This 9,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art fitness facility located in Cassique offers certified personal trainers, private tennis and squash professionals, and certified instructors who lead complimentary group fitness classes for all fitness levels.

Members can enjoy the latest cardio and weight equipment, plasma TVs, an indoor multipurpose room for squash, group fitness classes, and basketball. Outside, the Sports Pavilion boasts four terraced Har-Tru outdoor tennis courts, a salt-water swimming pool and whirlpool, well-appointed men’s and women’s locker facilities and wet areas, and an outdoor Gazebo serving sandwiches and salads.

Sporting Club

In addition to clay shooting, the Sporting Club has recently added air rifles to their available activities. Families with Club Memberships can spend their day shooting clays and firing air rifles with Marty Fischer or Elizabeth Fennell, two of the most prestigious clay shooters in the nation — an opportunity that may not otherwise be possible without a Club Membership.

Enjoy Five-Star Cuisine

Amenities and events aside, the dining options for Club Members is simply unmatched. Voyseys and B-Liner are sure to deliver the most decadent meals the Island has to offer prepared by world-renowned chefs. James Beard Award winner Tom Colicchio and Charleston local Mike Lata bring their inventive classics to the Kiawah Island Club. They pride themselves on revealing the essence of each ingredient, without distracting embellishments. Trust us, you’ll truly understand the value of a Kiawah Island Club Membership after tasting these expertly prepared entrees.
