Ah, spring. Nothing nourishes the mind, body, and spirit more than spring’s signal of new beginnings. Kiawah Island bursts with color during the season, and along with that comes seasonal get-togethers for Kiawah Island Club Members that include fine food and fun events. There is something for everyone and this season’s roster of events doesn’t disappoint.

Easter Eats and Evening Edibles

To celebrate the month’s auspicious beginning, Kiawah Island Club’s Progressive Dinner is a celebratory way for Members to Island hop—via Club transportation—at the various Club restaurants and indulge in a full-course menu experience. Rounding out the events slated for the month includes an afternoon interactive cooking class with Cassique’s sous chef on Wednesdays; a Member Mingle every first Thursday; an interactive and hands-on bartender course of sorts mid-March with Woody Latour; and a Links Ribeye Roast and Pascua Paella Party at Cassique.

Easter celebrations include Member favorites like the Easter Carnival and Egg Hunt at the Marsh House, with an Easter egg hunt, buffet dinner, and carnival goodies from afternoon to early evening. Easter Sunday brunch at the River Course offers delicious, Easter traditional cuisine, buffet style in the ballroom. Cassique offers a Club brunch to-go for Members who’d rather relax at home with the family. To continue the festivities, Eastergiving at Cassique serves a scrumptious family-style, multi-course meal into the afternoon.

A Shuckin’ Good Time, Farm Fare, and May Memories

Some of March’s culinary celebrations continue, and April and May are peppered with new ones. Club Members can celebrate a Lowcountry staple at a Shuckin’ Party at Cassique in April with oysters and other choices, as well as mocktails, cocktails, and more.

May commences with a Farm to Table Dinner at Cassique that begins with live music in the Oyster Garden. This fabulous culinary journey celebrates locally-sourced and seasonal fare where Members will meet farmers and visiting guest chefs. Al fresco dining on the back lawn and dessert served by the firepit—a flawless finish to impress the most discerning palates.

For a more adult-exclusive culinary adventure, May offers a Summertime Wines event for Members to test their sommelier skills as well as Ritas and Fajitas at the Marsh House with salsa dancing, sombreros, saucy sustenance, and specialty margaritas.

Kiawah Island Club offers so many exciting Member activities to tantalize the tastebuds and celebrate the spring season.
