Kiawah Island Club
The Cape Club
Now It’s Easier than Ever to Reach the Beach
The salted breezes. The rhythm of the rolling surf. The pink-hued ridge of horizon at sundown. For years, the magnificent shoreline and irresistible lifestyle offerings of The Beach Club have earned it undeniable Member-favorite status. Due to popular demand, the east-end amenity inspired a sister site, claiming the sparkling water’s edge on Kiawah’s west end with direct beach access and offering a second home for Member gatherings, family days, and heart-quickening ocean views. Welcome to The Cape Club.
The Cape Club features an oceanfront infinity pool with chaise lounges and cabanas, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an expansive sundeck, and a Latin-inspired al fresco bar and grill. In addition, beach service and recreational gear are available and Members have access to a duet of two-bedroom cottages. With a ribbon boardwalk connecting the pool deck to the beach, allowing Members to easily move between the two, The Cape Club serves as the closest amenity for the community’s newest luxury residential offering, Ocean Pines.
Cape Cuisine
Mike Lata, winner of the James Beard Foundation’s Award for Best Chef: Southeast and Chef and Co-Owner of lauded Charleston culinary mainstays, FIG and The Ordinary, is behind The Cape Club’s menu concept. Lata was an instrumental part of the concept and delivery of The Beach Club’s perpetual hotspot, B-Liner, which has reimagined the Club experience since it opened in 2019. The Cape Club menu is inspired by coastal Mexican cuisine—think fish tacos and fresh salsas—highlighting bright, simple, and flavorful cuisine that allows fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to shine.

She draws her “Kiawah safari” inspiration from the natural beauty of the Island along with a rustic safari vibe and color palette that complements the landscape–the green hues of the ocean and the orange and pink in the sunsets.
