Coastal cottages on a world-class golf course.

These beautifully appointed coastal cottages are on par with the Kiawah Island Club lifestyle.

Tucked into the trees for privacy in front, these light-filled cottages have been designed for social gatherings, with open great rooms with vaulted ceilings, two master suites, floor-to-ceiling windows with views of the practice range and golf course beyond, and glass doors that open onto landscaped courtyards… plus the ability to rent these cottages in pairs to accommodate larger groups.

A convenient location and five-star service are just a start. Club Membership will fill your calendar in the most delightful of ways whenever you’re in town. Or stay in and call in your dinner order to Voysey’s! Mix some drinks and have some friends over to watch the big game by the fireplace during cooler weather; in spring and summer, let your guests spill out into the shaded porches and try their luck on the practice range, or stroll down the range to improve their game at the high-tech Golf Learning Center.

Ocean breezes, marsh views, and a distinctly British blend of links and parkland make the Cassique course a true classic.

The first solo course design in North America by five-time British Open winner Tom Watson, this 6,960-yard course runs along the water and marshes of the Kiawah River in sight of the Atlantic Ocean. Its design was inspired by Irish and Scottish links-style courses; its first six holes have been described as almost “air-lifted from Ireland’s southwest coast.”

The Cassique clubhouse anchors the course. Modeled on the design philosophy of architect Charles F. A. Voysey, who specialized in creating British country homes a century ago, roughly a million cubic yards of earth were moved to create the site for the clubhouse. Its perch 35 feet above sea level enables breathtaking views on par with its exquisite cuisine designed and inspired by consulting chef Tom Colicchio of BravoTV’s Top Chef fame.

Privileged access to Kiawah Island Club amenities

The Cassique golf course is just one of the top-notch amenities a nine iron away from your golf cottage. For guests who don’t golf, Cassique also abounds with other delights.
Located beside the 15th green of the golf course, Cassique’s kayak dock and boathouse offer kayak storage and rentals, including single, tandem, sit-on-top, and sit-in kayaks. Once a paddler pushes off from the dock, a tranquil journey through Kiawah’s marshes, tidal creeks, and rivers awaits, often complete with wildlife sightings.
And just across the way from your golf cottage, the Sports Pavilion is a 9,000 square foot fitness facility filled with the latest cardio and weight equipment, indoor squash courts, outdoor tennis courts, whirlpool, and saltwater pool, along with expert sports instructors, personal trainers, exercise classes including yoga, and room for kicking back at a gazebo bar.
Cassique’s location also offers an enviable perk: the ability to stroll or bike to nearby Freshfields Village, offering a host of eateries, boutique shops, groceries, medical and dental practices, a shipping station, and other services. Reaching the beach is just as easy. Meticulously landscaped paths offer the means to access any point on Kiawah, from Freshfields Village to The Ocean Course at Kiawah’s furthest tip, on foot or bicycle.
