Summer 2025 Kiawah Island Activities for Kids

Spending the summer season somewhere like Kiawah Island makes for the perfect school break. With so much to do, endless adventure awaits for Kiawah Island kids. GoKids summer activities provide a robust calendar for every kid on the Island, ensuring the most exciting summer break possible.

Kiawah Island 2025 GoKids Summer Activities

Members can make reservations for all of the below GoKids events via the Club website, mobile app, or by contacting Member Services. These summer activities run from the beginning of June through early August.

Toddler Programs | Ages 3 to 5

Toddlers ages 3 to 5 are invited to participate in age-appropriate activities this summer at the Club! 

Toddler Golf 

These engaging 45-minute sessions provide a safe space for preschoolers to learn motor skills related to golf motions. Staff members guide the kids through various activities, during which they observe and imitate golf movements.

Minnows Swim 

Certified teachers and counselors conduct group swim lessons. Only children with previous swim experience are permitted to take these lessons.

Tiny Tots Tennis

Toddlers are introduced to the basics of tennis through engaging, fun games.

Creative Movement 

Focused on developing creativity and coordination, this class introduces children to dance in a fun and structured environment.

Soccer Shots: Classic 

New this summer! In partnership with Soccer Shots of Charleston, GoKiawah offers 45-minute soccer lessons where toddlers will use creative and imaginative games to focus on basic soccer skills. Participants will work on dribbling, passing, and shooting. 

Pioneers | Ages 5 to 8

Day Camp 

An exciting summer tradition continues in 2025 with day camp programs at Kiawah Island Club. Kids will enjoy various fun activities each day and be provided lunch and snacks.

Sports Camp 

Campers will play tennis and golf in the morning and spend the afternoon playing inside at The Sports Pavilion. Tennis and golf equipment are provided.

Acrobatics with Addy 

If your kids love to flip and tumble, acrobatics with Addy Gantt is the summer activity for them. Kids will learn to practice drills to introduce and improve handstands, cartwheels, and rolls. Your children won’t want to miss this hour-long music-filled acrobatic fun. Parents are invited to watch the last 10 minutes of class to see what their children have learned.

Day in the Park 

Campers spend the day in Ocean Park, participating in various field games and crafts, and splashing around in the pool.

Adventure Camp 

Adventure camp allows kids to explore Kiawah’s prestigious beaches by combining ocean discovery with boogie boarding.

NEW! Soccer Shots: Premier 

GoKiawah is partnering with Soccer Shots Premier to help improve campers’ soccer skills through fun games and team interaction. 

Explorers | Ages 9 to 12

Fishing with the Pros 

Club Captain Elliot Hillock teaches the skills necessary to catch fish in Kiawah’s waterways. Campers will learn everything from how to cast for bait to how to scout for their catch, all while growing a deeper appreciation for the beautiful ecosystem surrounding them. 

GoKids Golf 

Led by Cassique’s golf pros, players will begin with an hour of games and warm-ups, followed by time spent on the driving range or even playing a hole. After lunch, students will spend time inside at the Golf Learning Center using the simulator. 

Junior Chef 

With five dates this summer, this introduction to the culinary world will teach children the skills and methods behind developing menus, selecting ingredients, knife skills, and meal preparation. Each class will take place in Tom’s Kitchen at Cassique and be led by a different Club chef. 

GoKids Surf’s Up 

Kyle Busey, owner and operator of Carolina Salt Surf Lessons, runs this fun and engaging surf camp for Kiawah kids. The three-hour lesson comes with complimentary GoPro photos.

Sharpshooters 

Campers will enjoy The Sporting Club’s newest activities, including the air rifle range and archery. Air rifles are safe, easy to use, lightweight, and perfect for kids. Camp includes use of an air rifle, bows and arrows, eye protection, unlimited shots, and lunch.

Tennis & Pickleball Camp 

Kids will enjoy a day of tennis and pickleball training. We’ll start with drills and games, and then, after lunch, use the skills learned to create fun and competitive match-play situations. 

Adventure Camp 

In the mornings, campers will explore Kiawah’s rivers, marshes, and wildlife by kayak. In the afternoon, they will cool off with pool games and more.

NEW! Soccer Shots: Technical Training 

Soccer Shots technical training focuses on improving skills and confidence on the ball to help prepare for the next step in your child’s soccer journey. 

Teens | Ages 13 to 16

Teen Nights 

Teens are invited to an epic night of gaming in River Course’s men’s locker room. Play pool on the billiards table, challenge your friends to a game on the Xbox, Switch, PlayStation, or just hang out!

Teen Shoot 

Teens can enjoy the outdoors at The Sporting Club with air rifles and archery. All air rifles, eye protection, unlimited shots, and staff supervision are included.

Tennis and Pickleball Camp 

Teen campers will enjoy a day of tennis and pickleball training. Drills and games start in the morning, with match-play in the afternoon. Lunch is included.

Teen Paddle 

This two-hour teens-only paddling excursion from the Cassique boat house allows participants to kayak or paddleboard accompanied by GoKiawah counselors. Teens are invited to go at their own pace and explore the banks of the Kiawah River.

NEW! Teen Pool Party 

Celebrate the end of the school year in style with the exclusive Teen Pool Party. Held twice during the summer, it features moonlit swimming, exciting pool games, music, and snacks.
