Leize Glover Willis
Having grown up on a family farm on Bohicket Road, Leize Glover Willis is a self-professed ’bona fide local’. A farmer’s daughter, she inherited an appreciation for land at an early age and now lives on the Bohicket River — just miles from where she was raised. Leize’s grandfather was the first farmer on Johns Island to grow tomatoes, her father planted the fields where Freshfields Village sits today, and her very first job was driving Jeep safari tours on Kiawah. She continued to work on Kiawah through college and beyond in a number of roles before finally joining the Kiawah Island Real Estate team twenty-two years ago.
Now, Leize and her husband Ben are raising their young son Robert to have the same appreciation of the land as his mother. Together, they visit the beach, go swimming and boating along the rivers and creeks of the Lowcountry, and enjoy spending time with one another as a family.
Leize is also an active participant in the community. A longtime member of St. Johns Episcopal Church, she serves on the Altar Guild. She is also a member of the Garden Club of Charleston, and serves of the Board of Managers for the Ladies Benevolent Society.
To Leize, working at Kiawah Island Real Estate is a privilege. "I love being a part of such a wonderful team. We have a fantastic and dedicated support staff," she said. "It is so rewarding to help individuals and families fulfill their dreams of owning a home on this beautiful Island. The relationships I build with my incredible clients and their families are truly priceless!"
KIRE has the only real estate sales team located on Kiawah. We have 26 sales executives, and many are long-time Kiawah residents who can share both their knowledge of the Island and their enthusiasm for Kiawah’s rewarding lifestyle.
