During the winter of 2005, my husband and I took a trip to Kiawah Island. We wandered through the lobby of the hotel and ended up in the KIRE office where we met Tricia Flanagan. While I haven't met anyone affiliated with Kiawah Island Real Estate Company that I didn't feel was very professional and knowledgeable about the market conditions on the Island, my agent goes beyond this general standard. In getting to know my agent over these years we discovered that her relationship with me and my wife was not just in assisting us with real estate matters, but that of a much more personal concern for us and how we were doing. This includes staying in touch by periodically letting us know what was going on at the Island, cheerfully providing information or assistance with anything related to Kiawah Island when we asked, etc. As an example, our agent called to give us updated weather forecast during the tropical storm season and checked to see whether any outdoor furniture at your residence needs to be moved to a safe location!
