Marilyn Olson
Marilyn Olson is the property owner representative on the Board. As liaison to the community, she represents home, cottage and villa owner interests and provides a layman’s view on aesthetic issues. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in education where her career spanned 35 years as a student, teacher, college instructor, workplace educator, and consultant. Marilyn has been a villa owner since 1994 and an island resident since 2006. Marilyn served as the KICA director liaison to ARB from 2009-2011 and served on Covenant Compliance prior to that. As a KICA Director she chaired the West Beach: Looking to the Future Task Force. She has been a Regime director since 2006, serves on the Town of Kiawah Island Solid Waste and Recycling Committee, and volunteers at St. Johns High School and the greater Johns Island community.
