Kiawah Island Club Venues
Beach Club
The cornerstone of The Kiawah Island Club, this beach-front venue offers Members a unique combination of sun, sand, ocean, and dunes along Kiawah's most secluded stretch of beach.
Members may lounge on the beach or around their choice of three swimming pools: a heated junior Olympic pool, an adult pool, and a baby pool.
The Beach Club places great emphasis on service and providing Members with a comfortable transition from beach to dining, whether they crave the seafood-oriented Tides or to be poolside at the Summerhouse.
The River Course
The River Course clubhouse sits on an ancient bluff surrounded by huge live oaks overlooking the Kiawah River to the north and Bass Pond to the southeast.
Amenities include a pro shop, dining room, grille room, veranda, living room, men's and women's lounges with locker areas and fitness center. Adjacent to the clubhouse are two red clay tennis courts.
For golfers, The River Course, designed by Tom Fazio, provides a challenging and aesthetically pleasing 7,039-yard test. It boasts six holes that play along the Kiawah River and Bass Pond, with the other fairways and greens playing along picturesque marsh savannahs, ponds, and the Island's incomparable maritime forests.
Cassique
Cassique lies amidst rolling dunefields and Lowcountry marsh savannahs. The clubhouse, reminiscent of a 19th-century English country manor, offers commanding views of the golf course and the tidelands surrounding the Kiawah River.
Spend an afternoon testing Tom Watson's 6,960-yard links-style course, which ranges over former agricultural fields and beside marshes and maritime forests where the Kiawah River meets the Atlantic.
Revel in fine dining at the private restaurant and pub, which features a menu designed exclusively by Consulting Chef Tom Colicchio of Manhattan's famous Gramercy Tavern and Craft eateries.
Cassique's capable staff oversees every detail from rooms for private functions, to expansive men and women's locker facilities, and a full-service pro shop.
Sports Pavilion
Members have access to expanded sporting and fitness opportunities and a host of new activities including cardio, squash, lap swimming, and yoga - just to name a few.
The 9,000 square foot facility overlooks lush Lowcountry vistas and includes the latest cardio equipment in state-of-the-art weight rooms (with personal trainers on-hand), plasma TV's, squash courts, a multipurpose room for group classes, tennis courts, a swimming pool, whirlpool, and gazebo bar offering wraps and salads. The comfortable men and women's locker rooms provide plenty of natural sunshine and exclusive amenities.
Sasanqua Spa
An exclusive haven of rejuvenation, pampering, and serenity, Sasanqua is a unique retreat from the outside world, offering Members an enhanced mind and body connection to the Kiawah environment.
Guided by world-renowned designer Clodagh, Sasanqua celebrates Kiawah's natural surroundings. The exterior itself, simple and unobtrusive, folds into the Kiawah landscape, and the interiors add a sense of harmony using natural materials to continue the experience indoors.
Sasanqua's signature treatments and custom-made products incorporate indigenous Lowcountry ingredients. All treatments were designed for The Kiawah Island Club to benefit health, promote introspection, and encourage relaxation.
